to join the group.

It would be neat if someone would twiddle with the ingredients of the
original Julian Bakery's Manna From Heaven Bread and figure out how to get
the stuff to stick together.

That being said, the list of seeds to be sprouted is daunting.

By the way, we usually avoid lentils, don't we? There were sprouted lentils
in the Manna bread. Interesting.

Ken/

Kentag:drrosedale.tenderapp.com,2010-09-16:Comment/423452872017-04-12T01:20:20Z2017-04-12T01:20:20ZManna From Heaven Bread Ingredients

["...to die for"] Yeah, you died when you paid for the stuff (giggle)!

It could become a problem when a slice of the stuff sheared off a bit
inside the toaster - oh, what a mess to extricate all those little pieces
or get a piece wedged inside the toaster back out again.

The bread recipe that Leslie posted looks a whole lot more like real bread
and it probably wouldn't risk burning the kitchen down inside the toaster,
either (lol).

I recently acquired a very lasting testimony of the Rosedale Diet as
healthy and the way to go over all other ways of eating.

"Back in the day" I ate that way and accrued health and strength as a consequence. Then the "foodies" got to me. You know the ones: they want the
world to go vegan and warn of the dire consequences of ingesting animal
protein in any form.

I joined their camp for 15 months. Ate nothing but the Forks Over Knives
way of eating, which is totally vegan. My endocrinologist is a vegan, due
to his religion, and he urges all of his patients to switch to Forks Over
Knives eatint habits. In addition, I studied a 4 credit Nutrition class in
college very hard (got an A+ in it) and the course work was heavily slanted
towards shifting people away from animal proteins. (p.s. I'll be 68 years
old next month which is why I'm in college full time, AND can remember
events from years ago - lol).

I can speak " came at a price - I spent several hours in the ER yesterday.
The lab results showed that Forks Over Knives eating was badly disagreeing
with my body. My goal had been to pursue even greater health, not less!

So I ran for the bookshelf and grabbed Dr. Rosedale's book, and re-read
what had at one time been a lifestyle for me. Oh, how it made even MORE
sense now!!

I had been craving sweets all of the time as a vegan. I also craved oils.
It's no fun to never feel satisfied and full after a meal! I also gained 45
lbs. in 15 months! Of course, it was a huge drawback to be allergic to
corn, soy, whole wheat and beans! I ate a LOT of salads in those 15 months,
and drank a lot of raw food blundered stuff.

And what was predicted to happen by Dr. Rosedale's book DID happen. His
book is the ultimate "handbook" on the care and maintenance of the human
body, when it comes to eating. I value his wisdom and the advice in his
book now more than ever!

So glad to have found a support website. I'm on the Plan "A" list, and
there are quite a few recipes in his book which are actually for the Plan
"B" folks. It's such a blessing and relief when you find extra recipes that taste good!

Best wishes,
