January 2015
-
age 65 years
-
weighing 140lbs to 145lbs
-
sporting a 30 inch waist
-
no more liver problems
-
no more problems with T2 diabetes – I am off 2 different meds and 2 different injections – which I was doing in same day.
-
off 2 channel blockers – off 2 ace inhibitors – off 1 diuretic for high blood pressure, which I was taking same day. At one time doctor had me trying a Beta blocker along with other meds – that did not work either.
-
leg neuropathy is gone I actually have hair regrowing where it hadn't been in years.
-
I used to catch flu/cold all the time, had bad sinus problems but for over 2 years now I have been flu/cold – sinus problems free.
I had gotten to the point that I could not breathe, my blood pressure was never brought under control – average pressure ran 170s to 210 / 90s to 128.
Dr. Ron's Health Plan/Diet has been a life saver indeed.
I came across Dr. Ron's website as I was searching for help and I am very grateful for the work he has done and continues to do.

You will never know what the Rosedale Diet can do for you until you give it an "earnest" try.

Ken.
Thank you for all you do here and for posting this. I too started my journey with Rosedale diet in 2012. I have not reached the end yet. I was at 330 to start. I got to 250 and stalled. But mainly due to not following the List A diet and venturing out with more SAT fat and carbs etc.
I am working to re gain my focus and push through to get another 70 off of me.
Thank you for your support here.

Terry
For sure those non-fiber carbs will and can be a major hindrance.
I am glad that I am of help. Do you find it a bit harder the second time around battling those non-fiber carbs?
We wish you the best Terry.

I do find it harder. But I am using a food logger just to make sure I do not over eat and I get the proper protein etc.
One thing I have started eating that is amazing is one can/tin of sardines a day (ok sometimes 3-4X per week). 300 calories but packed with 24g fat 24g protein. Dr. Rosedale was right about it being the perfect little food.
I like mine with a little Tabasco and a squeeze of lemon.
I am back on the mission.
Thanks Ken.
