Morning blood sugar

I've been on the Rosdale plan for a year now and look and feel amazing. However, recently I have been waking up in the middle of the night very hot. When checking my blood sugar at say 4am and even later in the morning when waking up, I've noticed its elevated. My normal fasting level is low 80s yet in the mornings its been mid to high 90s. I haven't changed anything in my diet lately so I'm guessing it has something to do with cortisol maybe, but no idea what or how. Could you please explain what might be happening here and anything i can do to try and fix it. It seems to be something that has just started happening in the past couple weeks.

Thanks,
Craig

    Hi Craig,

Good to hear from you again and that you are maintaining the program. Dr. Ron said don't worry about it too much, it might be you have a slight infection.

    Best of health.
    Fiona.
