Any suggestion on root canal will be appreciated. Hal Huggins said if you have root canal you should remove them due to bacteria that will eventually lead to poor immune system metabolism which will result in auto immune disease. Can you shed some light on this! If one is following the Dr Rosedale diet exactly should they remove their root canal. Many thanks in advance for your reply.

The diet will help the immune system but how one treats a root canal infection is still up for debate.

    Best of health.

Thanks for your reply. Would you think it would be wise to remove the root canal. I have a persistent eczema problem that i cannot get rid of. I am following Dr. Rosedale diet exactly now for about 3 months now but occasionally i would get flare up and hives. I was diagnosed with a wheat allergy but i have not consumed wheat products in about 4 years now.

I am so sorry, Dr. Ron cannot give you advice on the root canal, it would be best for you to contact a few local specialists who you can visit with in person so that they can advise you best. Regarding the hives, you need to find out what it is from, the wheat you have cut out but if you are still having the occasional flare up. Then there is something else, nuts, eggs, etc. So, keeping check of what you are eating at those times to narrow it down will help.
