Oil
Hi,
Just purchased your book on Kindle today.
Have been sort of doing paleo for 6 weeks now and feeling a lot better.
Thought I may get some more help with your plan.
Just wondering why you suggest that one can use canola oil if they do not like the taste of olive oil.
In my opinion and many others canola oil is bad bad bad for us.
Not even a natural seed.
Designed in my country (Canada) from rape seed and by the time you factor in GM and the process of refining this oil I think it is a deadly oil.
Use to use it in my tub for dry skin but had to quit when I realized my bath towel was coated with plastic that would not wash out. Even in hot water, ammonia and detergent!!
Started rubbing olive oil on my skin instead and now use coconut oil too.

Yes, I far prefer coconut oil and monounsaturated fats such as olive oil. I didn't want to “forbid” canola oil, since it is perhaps a (slightly) better oil than the higher omega six oils such as peanut, corn, and soybean oils that are commonly found in commercial foods, and since canola oil is the most common oil it seems that is in prepared foods from so-called “health food” stores such as Whole Foods. Thanks for the remark.
