The Great Cholesterol Question All Over Again
Hello,
if this message gets to the Dr. himself, I would first like to express my great appreciation of the work done. It helped me to understand several processes within human body to much deeper level than previously and your talks available on Youtube are one of the few online resources I often direct other curious folks to.
However I have this question about cholesterol and cardiovascular diseases. From what I have learned so far it seems fair to say that high total cholesterol doesn't cause high blood pressure or increase risks of cardiovascular problems. I believe that you subscribe to this interpretation of available data as well. But there is a duo of articles that presents different interpretation (more in line with mainstream cholesterol-vilification) that I am unable to sucesfully "debunk" for myself. The author himself is on the high-carb part of the dietary spectrum, but doesn't seem to write in the usual vegan-ish hysterical manner and quite neutral-sounding indeed.
Is there any way I might ask for help in really understanding or on the other hand "debunking" this?
The articles are found here http://renegadehealth.com/blog/2017/06/25/the-great-cholesterol-deb...
and here http://renegadehealth.com/blog/2017/09/11/debunking-the-cholesterol....
Thank you very much for any answer.

Hi there and thank you doing your research and not taking verbatim what is passed out there.. Dr. Ron is deep in the throws of getting his book finished, and though he does see these emails he tend to keep away from diving in to threads so the he can keep focused on his train of thought. So without reading through the threads either, cholesterol is not the villain, period. I love one of Dr Ron's first talks called insulin and its metabolic effects, I believe he also talks about it there as well.
