Hi!

I've just discovered Dr Rosedal amazing work and I have finished the Rosedal diet book, great book.

I've a question regarding leptin. As I understood leptin hormone is produced by the fat cells. More fat cells, more leptin, less hunger. Less fat cells, less leptin, more hunger. I am currently fat adapted and in ketosis. My question is how come if I skip one ore two meals I got hungry? Have I burnt that much fat during this 10h fast that I have produced less leptin? It feels like appetite fluctuate a lot more than the loss or gain of fat cells that produced leptin...

Is there only leptin involved in appetite/hunger or other mecanisms?

Thanks!
Laurent

  1. How do I burn fat..

What determines whether you burn fat or sugar are specific metabolic hormones, the most powerful being leptin followed closely by insulin....and leptin and insulin are controlled by what you eat, not drugs
