Low leptin
Hi Dr. Rosedale.
I am 58 and weigh 118 lbs.I eat a low carb, mostly ketogenic diet. I am concerned about my Leptin level which is .8. It used to be in the 2-3 range, but seems to be going down and not sure what that means. I don't know if this is something I should be concerned about. Would love your thoughts.
Thanks!!

Any thoughts in the meantime?

Robin it may be related to the way you are eating.

Interestingly, the way I've been eating really changed much over the years, but Leptin seems to be getting lower.
Would love to know how significant it is to have lowered leptin levels in terms of my overall health.
And if so, what I can do to raise my levels?
Thanks so much! I know you're not Dr. Rosedale, but any opinions and advice you have would be greatly appreciated.
Robin

May need to tweak your approach to dieting. Read the (Leptin section) on pages 166-167 in the Rosedale Book

I went on the website to try to get the book and it said it wasn't available. Is it possible to send me a link to it?
Thanks so much! Appreciate your help!
