high fat protein: Dairy and dark meat
I really don't like low fat meat or light meat. Will eating dark meat really cause a problem on this diet?
Is there a point when you can add it back in?
Also I have been advised to eat high fat dairy- that my body benefits from this so long as it's raw and grass fed..
Can you explain why you advise against this in your book, even now that there are raw, lactose free dairy options from local farms?

Hi Stacey,
So sorry it seems your message only just came through. Dr. Ron for sure is ok with eating dark meat, it is only during the first 3 weeks if your body is not used to digesting fats to go with a lighter meat. However, when i transitioned I was good to go straight for the darker meats, and organic grass fed half and half. I have since transitioned more to coconut milk but the full fat cream, milk is great with the diet.. I mean not drinking pints of it, but in moderation.
