Plant-based (vegan)?
I am wondering if there are any strictly plant-based eaters (or vegans) who have been on this program long term. I've been eating according to the Rosedale guidelines for a couple of weeks, and seem to be able to meet my nutrient requirements. Meals are centered around the allowed veggies cooked in olive oil or dipped in guacamole, with nuts/olives as snacks. I have been adding coconut milk a couple of times per week for variety as well in soups or curries. I am abiding by the protein amounts suggested by the program, eat tofu only a couple times per week, and haven't needed to add any other beans.
The Support Staff don't seem to have any information at all other than to recommend pea protein (which I don't really want to use) and say that vegetarians do ok.
Anyone else out there?

I am so sorry, as your message just came up for some reason. Dr. Ron and I spent a lot of time in India where a huge percentage of the groups were vegetarian. They have done fantastic and continue too. Protein was a main issue there, getting a complete protein without the added carbs like in larger sized legumes. Paneer was very popular.
