I had a heart attack ten years ago at an early age. I currently take 40mg of Crestor daily. I also
take 200mg of Ubiquinol daily Is 200mg of Ubiquinol enough? I cant find ant dosage recommendations for someone with heart disease other than 200 mg. I dont have any physical limitations and exercise frequently.

Thanks,
John

In Dr. Ron's Book on pages 149-150 you can find useful information.

    Great info here as well

These pages discuss a routine dosage for most folks of 100-200 mg per day and 1200mg per day for folks suffering from Alzheimers. Quite a gap in dosage.

I had a heart attack ten years ago and after reading Rosedale's info on CoQ10, I feel I could benefit from 600 to 1200mg per day. However, I am not a Doctor, and my Doctors do not have an opinion either way.

    Thanks,

It is okay to do a little tweaking - it would be difficult/impossible for Dr. Ron to give an exact amount for every individual without him having complete control of ones diet. However, he has laid the ground work that will work for everyone.

    • You may also noticed that he mentioned the safety of that higher range. I have tweaked mine, in my own judgment, because of a weak heart that I have had for many many years (many years of uncontrolled BP) but I can say that has improved greatly over the last 3 years.

    • What this does is: gives each person a personal responsibility for their health.

I have found that when a person works within the guidelines that Dr. Ron gives, things work out. He (Dr. Ron) has many years of experience, thru his practice, to stand on, I'm talking 20 plus years.

    • My thoughts are if things would be harmful then Dr. Ron would make mention of it - I use that when I do some personal tweaking. (example) He mentions a basic range of 100mg of CoQ10 but talks about higher dosages as well, now, I believe, if a higher dosage was dangerous he would mention it - I put that kind of trust in him.

    • John I realize there is much info out there but eventually one will have to make a personal choice. I did. If you had known me 3 years ago you would know the vast improvement in my health, and it's not done yet.

You'll have to excuse me I get excited, I well remember that my health was going downhill in a rapid manner, and it has been going up these past 3 years.
