Probiotics

I'm wondering if taking probiotics is a good idea? I started the Rosedale plan on the premise that I was low or deficient in every area in terms of starting to use the supplements the Dr. recommends. I was previously informed that following the plan in and of itself would regulate my system on a variety of levels. I've heard so much "convincing" information about the benefits of using probiotics, on the Rosedale plan, is there any foreseeable "downside" to continuing to use probiotics - or would the use be in any way, detrimental or work contrary to any of the supplements I'm using on Rosedale's plan?

LeAnn, I have read alot of Dr. Ron's writings & interviews and I think somewhere along the way he mentioned about not being a big fan of probotics. His diet naturally replenishes gut flora. I believe that I am correct about this but I could be mistaken about his view on probotics.

    • It is not mentioned in his book and that would also cause me to believe that he isn't a fan.
