(Q) Muscle Loss Why?

(A) Muscle loss occurs when the body is unable to burn fat.

  • Dr. Rosedale's program will allow for the preferential use and burning of fat over glucose, thereby sparing muscle that would otherwise convert to glucose if you cannot burn fat.

  • Eating carbs raises insulin that in turn prevents you from burning fat and makes you more leptin resistant that prevents you from burning fat.
