Dr. Rosedale,
I am 62 (female), stopped smoking 6 weeks ago and am keeping to your diet religiously (including supplements). I have high cholesterol, am 20 kilos overweight and probably pre diabetic. Ending 3 weeks (phase 1) but no weight loss.
I live in Israel; is there anyway I can pay you for an online consultation?
I need to know why I am not loosing weight.
Thank you so much,
Sylvia

    Hi Sylvia,

Great job on sticking to the program. Often there is something that is out of balance, sometimes not enough fat, other times too much, most times though it is too much protein. Try www.myfitnesspal.com and track your food for at least 5 days. Also http://nutritiondata.self.com/ is a great website to check what the protein and net carbs really are. Remember carbs - fiber = true sugar, forget the sugar that is listed.

Please let me know if we can list your question as public, while maintain your email as private, as then Ken and many others on this site will give you their support as well.

    Many thanks
    Fiona
