agave nectar and almond flour

Hi,

I'm fallowing your diet plan and wanted to know if i want to make almond muffins is it OK to use almond flour? and if yes do i have to be careful about portions? I know on this diet we don't do portion control but i don't ether wanna gain weight..... Also is agave nectar OK to use? and if so how much? and Stevie you said we could use in moderation what does that mean how often? thank you!

    Almond flour is great.. just remember to count it in your protein allowance for the day. Also agave.. it is just glorified fructose which is actually worse than sugar, please don't believe all the marketing hype about it.

    Stevia is good, we say in moderation because we want you to gain your natural sweet tooth where even almonds become sweet. If you just keep numbing that with sweeteners then that true taste of food takes longer to come back. Stevia also has a bit of an after bite, see if you can find debittered stevia which is a lot smoother a taste.
