Nursing & on this diet
I am a nursing mom who started this diet five days ago. I would like to continue nursing for another four months. My question: Is there anything I should or shouldn't be following while I am nursing? I only have about 15 or 20 pounds to lose. I try to exercise 2 or 3 times a week. I have lost four pounds so far so I just wanted to know if that is too much too fast and if there is anything different a nursing mom should do.

It is normally just fluid the first week or so. Make sure you are taking some magnesium and potassium and also fish oil though make sure it is from a glass bottle like carlsons as many that are stored in a plastic bottle that might be rancid already as oxygen permeates plastic. Keep up the great work!

Hi Kelly,
Congrats on giving Dr. Rosedale's Health Plan a try, you are on your way to a "healthier you". You also have a great opportunity to teach your little one the importance of eating healthier foods.
On page 35, in Dr. Ron's book there is a section entitled, It Begins in the Womb, that is interesting.
The below link is some info that could be useful when your little one is ready.
Homemade Baby Food with Avocados
Wishing you & your family the best of health.

That is a great link on the ideas for baby foods Ken, thank you. We have some friends in New York that have formulated at home some amazing recipes using coconut oil, avocado, and such. For babies it is so easy as they have not yet been tempted with any sweets so they will taste the food for its wonder that it is.
