Dear Dr.Rosedale, :)
I would like to try your diet, but I'm not sure if it's ok for me. I've been sick with fibromyalgia for at least 4-5 years and my condition was getting progressively worse for the last 2.5. For the last 6 months under supervision of my Dr I started using Dr. Jacob Teitelbaum's SHINE protocol and I'm feeling much better, but I'm still not 100% by any means. The treatment is working without any doubts and I want to continue, but I would also would like to incorporate your diet in this. I have had prediabetis and was taking Metformin, but don't need this anymore. I'm overweight though and all my life I have struggled with my weight. I still take a lot of supplements and medications to heal my blown out hypotholomus, my under active thyroid and insomnia. Most of my supplements correspond with the ones you suggest in your great book, it's the prescribed medications I'm unsure about. I take: Armour Thyroid 60mg, lunesta 3mg, trazodone 75mg, flexeril 5mg. Those last three are for sleeping and are combined with 5-HTP 200mg, and a supplement called Sleep Tonight which contains blends to reduce reversed cortisol. I also take bioidentical hormones E2E3 50:50 2.5/Progesterone and Tramadol 50mg. Do you think I can try

My diet has been shown to be of great help in people with fibromyalgia. Also, very many people report better sleep and the necessity of requiring less. As such, after incorporating the diet I would try as much as possible to get off at some of the sleep medications as they impair the quality of sleep.

    Dear Fiona, :)

Absolutely! If I can be a part of anyone else benefiting from such priceless info I'm all for it.
I do have an extra question about chia. Is it allowed on your diet? I couldn't find it anywhere in the book.Oh! And is it ok to use a splash of home made hazelnut or almond milk in my morning coffee instead of a cream? Many thanks
