If vegetables don't really give us any useful nutrients.....
Is there any reason one could not simply eat the allotted
protein, and good fats, and that's it (plus supplementation)? Has
anyone done that over the long haul, and have they had good
results, health wise. I have always been under the impression that
greens were necessary for minerals.
Your insight is appreciated.
Thank you.

Ellen that is right; greens are not all that necessary nor are vegetables in general. Most will add sugar anyway. One can get all the micronutrients from foods such as nuts and eggs plus a little bit of magnesium supplementation perhaps. Certainly the fat and protein would be derived from outside vegetables.
