I started using your suggested supplements for diabetes and have had a very good drop in my sugar readings to the point that I am no longer using Metformin. I recently went to an MD who also practices holistic medicine. She said that long term use of vanadyl sulfate is dangerous and that I should stop using it because it has not been proven to be safe. I have been using it for about 1 month. I noticed in your book you said 3 months. I don't want to harm my body but I also do want to continue having good readings for my blood sugar. What is considered long term use of vanadyl sulfate. Thank you for your answer.

Great questions. Dr. Ron recommends Bis-ovo-vanadium as the best form, and to take it for 3 weeks and then one week off. There will come and point when you do not need it anymore, but that is depending on each persons case; how good they are being on the diet, how many different drugs they might be coming off, etc.
