Hemp hearts, chia seeds and quinoa
The above mentioned food sources are touted as a good source of protein and a energy food. I noticed that their carb/fiber numbers are equal so essentially the fiber negates the carb. How do they fit into your plan??
BTW, my husband and I have been following your plan with fab results....thanx Spreading the good news.

Hi Miriam
Quinoa does have some nutritional value however, it is high in non-fiber carb which equals sugar; the fiber that it does have does not negate the non-fiber – our body will still need to process whatever is ingested, the fiber and non-fiber alike, whether the process be slow or not.
(ie) you can eat 20g of fiber and 10g of non-fiber but the non-fiber is not canceled out. It is akin to drinking a diet soda while eating a plate full of fries, the diet soda does not negate the effects of the fries.
Wishing you the best,
Ken

Think I had better further explain my reasoning by what I said above:
If you are eating [ two different ] items:
It was what I was inferring when I mentioned the diet soda & fries
Sorry if I have confused someone - I'll have to work on this short coming ;-)
