<p>Quinoa does have some nutritional value however, it is high in
non-fiber carb which equals sugar; the fiber that it does have does
not negate the non-fiber – <strong>our body will still need
to process whatever is ingested</strong>, the fiber and non-fiber
alike, whether the process be slow or not.</p>
<p>(ie) you can eat 20g of fiber and 10g of non-fiber but the
non-fiber is not canceled out. It is akin to drinking a diet soda
while eating a plate full of fries, the diet soda does not negate
the effects of the fries.</p>

<p>Think I had better further explain my reasoning by what I said
above:</p>
<p><em>If you are eating [ two different ] items:</em></p>
<ul>
<li>the fiber carbs in one will not negate the non-fiber in the
other ...</li>
</ul>
<p>It was what I was inferring when I mentioned the diet soda &
fries</p>
<p>Sorry if I have confused someone - I'll have to work on this
short coming ;-)</p>
