Fiona, thanks so much for your reply. A chiropractic neurologist, who
practices functional neurology, had told me that getting too much of
good fats was a bad thing because an excess of it would turn to
sugar. I suppose that is only if you are mixing it with carbs. One
more thing. I suffer from insomnia and chronic anxiety, mainly during
the middle of the night. The oils seem to calm my nervous system
down. Is it o.k. to take the oils by themselves at say 3 a.m...???
Also I am a bit foggy this a.m....what might MCT's be?

You are correct, it is not a good idea to load up on good oils
if you are still loading up on carbs, as the oils will not get
burned as fuel but rather would get stored. However, if you are
following Dr. Rosedale's plan and not really taking in carbs, then
taking in the extra oils if fine. Again, taking in the oils is a
way to give you energy and to help you to not be hungry, so use it
as appropriate. Medium Chain Triglycerides (MCT's) you can buy at
most health food stores, that or coconut oil, the both have similar
