Cholesterol deposit on eyelid
Hi Dr. Rosedale.
I've been doing something similar to your diet for almost 4 weeks now after listening you on Jimmy's podcast and reading most of your website and blog. But a few days ago, I just found out that I have this cholesterol deposit on my eyelid. After doing some searching it does seems people who have this issue have this because of high lipid and have the tendency to also deposit those cholesterol on the arteries wall. And some news site also says that I might have only 10 years left to live.
Should I stop all eating all the fat and cholesterol in my diet?

Dear Rio,
Sorry to hear your news, so these deposits have only happened since you started the diet? Dr. Ron's first response was there must be something else going on as this is not typical, nor does he believe that eating cholesterol and/or fat cause this. However, it is not something he has the exact answer for unless he did a lot more research and also had you do several other lab tests like a VAP cholesterol etc. I am sorry that he is not able to take patients right now. Please let us know how things go.
