Protein
What is the absolute minimum protein I should be eating to prevent muscle loss or protein deficiency?
My calculated protein requirement comes to about 45 gms a day (5' 5" Female). I follow Dr Rosedale's recommendation and eat 15 gms of protein per meal. Often, I skip breakfast or dinner due to lack of hunger. On these days, how do I reach my 45 gms of protein requirement? Is 30 gms (2 meals) of protein per day sufficient?
Thanks!

If it is just once or twice a week you drop down to 30 would be ok if the rest of the days you are getting the 45. One really easy way is to have a protein drink in the morning, as your body has gone all night already without anything and this will be an easy 15 grams, or have some boiled eggs, already shelled in the fridge so you can grab and go.
Hope all is well.

Thanks Fiona! :) Everything is going very well... Now my husband has also switched to the Rosedale diet for breakfast and lunch.. though he still has carbs for dinner, he has lost so many inches that everybody asks him if he is working out with weights!
Random people ask me for exercise advice to get toned arms and they just don't believe me when I say it is just diet..... My daily routine consists of 100% Rosedale diet and 5 pushups :)
Also, like you said in a earlier post, my hairloss was just a stage..... It has stopped now and my hair feels much more stronger......
Thanks for everything!

That is so great to hear! It is so much easier to live the lifestyle together. Though, it is not good to mix high fat and carbohydrates.. if he must have some carbs then have them in the middle of the day so at least he might burn them off a little, or at least to go for a walk or something after eating them. However.. it is a great step for him to join you I am sure you will get him there as the compliments continue. Love that people compliment you, we should make your 'routine' of 100% Rosedale diet and 5 pushups :) our motto!!
always a pleasure hearing from you, keep us posted on your progress.
Take care,
Fiona
