Re Manna from Heaven Bread
Hi ,
I am starting on the Rosedale diet and changing my lifestyle accordingly.
As I don't drink alcohol or smoke it should not be too hard..
The sugar & Bread will be my biggest hurdle...
As I live in Australia I am unable to purchase the Manna From Heaven Bread.
Can you advise a suitable bread type ??
Is spelt bread ok ?
Or am I best to cut it out all together for the first few weeks .. I don't
have a weight problem , but mainly no strength, extremely weak & not to
mention vague.
I am unable to digest food at all .. this is my attempt at getting my life
back .
Regards
Bernardine

Dear Bernardine,
We are excited for you to start the program. I found being a former bread lover myself that just cutting it out at least for the first month was the best way to do it. I always make sure I have almond flour in as you can make some wonderful almond muffins which are filling and close enough to bread. You will need to look at the nutritional labels to find a good low carb option where you live, remember carbs - fiber = true sugar and if you can find something that is about 4-7 grams a slice would be ok as a treat. Once you break through the transition, and you become a fat burner you will have a lot more energy for sure.
Good luck!

Hi Fiona,
Thanks for your reply,
In cutting out my favourite meal of the day spelt loaf toast- sugar - Coffee am sure = sugar.
What do you suggest for a breakfast substitute.
I am going on this program to give me clarity & energy plus the ability to be strong and healthy .
Not to mention arthritis @ age 50 ... I am not overweight but due to emotional abuse for many years my anxiety is on overdrive.
Will this program assist ?
Regards
Bernardine

Dear Bernardine,
You will love what this program can do for you. Many people see many great results, but arthritus is a big one, also acid reflux goes away often in the first week. Once fasinating comment we hear often is that your mind will be calmer and clearer. For me personally this is the area that I have seen amazing improvement, though I had taken on double the work load I was less stressed out, calmer, and able to switch between projects a lot easier. Though as you know emotional abuse is something that should also be dealt with and though diet will give you many incredible improvements also seeking some help to put the hidden pains of the emotional abuse to rest will go a long way.
Things for breakfast, well that all depends on how much time you have in the morning, if you are on the run then a protein shake will set you on your way just fine, mixed with half an avocado, or hot in a decaffeinated coffee with a little cream. If you have time, then a couple of eggs with some organic turkey bacon, or if you made some nice almond muffins the day before a few of those will be filling too. If you like waffles and pancakes there are many low carb recipes made from almond flour or coconut flour that work great as well.
Best of health.
