Dear Dr. Rosedale:
On reviewing the Nutritional Recommendations on your site, I notice that you recommend cottage cheese. While I realize this is a general guideline , I am wondering about your recommendations of dairy for a person with any type of cancer,

My dentist, who of course is an MD has breast cancer, and only lately has her doctor pointed out to her to eliminate all dairy which was causing more lumps in her breasts. The following article sheads light on this topic

A1 Beta Casein: The Devil in Your Milk

We also have a family member with Melanoma so I am very interested in this.

Many thanks for all your wonder posts doing so much to educate us.

People with cancer need to follow The Rosedale diet (moderate protein, very low carb and higher fat), but also reduce their protein. I would worry more about the total protein and not necessarily that it is cottage cheese.

Wishing you the best of health.
