Fat based diet and muscle hypertrophy/bodybuilding
Greetings from Finland! First i want to say that i appreciate
your work awfully much and i have learned a lot from you.
I've been a fatburner now for several years, with some
experimentation. I do lots of sports and have found it goes well
with that also, especially long term "aerobics". But with strenght
training and building muscle mass i can't seem to make it work, i'm
not getting any weaker, but not any stronger eather. So i've been
every now and then burning more protein/sugar in order to get
stronger..it is a secondary thing for me, surely, but i i'd like to
able to unite these. Do you have experiences or ideas on this area
of physiology? I am very grateful if you have time and interest in
answering :)

• I am curious as to what your daily protein was before you made an increase and what did you increase it to and how long has it been since, you made the increase.. Also what type(s) of protein do you use.
•• Sami as I think more about your question this crosses my mind - my youngest son got into the more protein/sugar thing and it did not work for him, matter of fact he lost weight and there was no muscle gained, he only got hungrier, sugar will do that - from what I understand the body will produced what it needs for energy, ( ribose - I think it is), by way of our intake of protein & fat.
Adding sugar is not good.
By the Way: how tall are you and what is your weight?
