Thank you for your message and great to hear your are a Rosedale
fan in Mexico! We have never heard of nopal till now and checked as
well on <a href=

It seems the break down you gave me is just for nopal but maybe
does not including the corn. So the ratios you mentioned would be
great, though I would check it a little more thoroughly. Corn is
just never a good option. Also the protein was in mg correct?
Sometimes we find it might be very low in net carbs but then pack a
lot of extra protein. If you can make a good tortilla with nopal
and something else other than corn let us know.

This was a great question, do you mind if I make your question
public so others can also discover another possible option?

Wishing you all the best of continue health.

I am following the Rosedale yahoo group, and read some of your interventions

and comments from the participants. As you can see, I am a
better reader than
writer. I have some time trying to keep on Rosedale diet, having
good results.

The information that I send you is from a company that make this tortilla,

and yes is mg in protein. The web page of this company is
www.srcactus.com .
Here in Mexico are investigations about the consuption of the
Nopal, and as
tradition from my parents and grand parents they always said is
good to lower
blood sugar and good for your digestion. Also are people that make
Nopal
smothies, including pineaple, celery and bee honey. I have a friend
that said
he feels very relief of his stomach after drink these smothie in
the morning.
In my house, we consume Nopal almost daily. Cooking the nopal and
adding some
diferents chiles. I like it with poached eggs.

I think that to make a tortilla have to use some cereal, like corn or wheat,

and maybe others cereal, and this tortilla that I use is the
only that use in
his process raw nopal and in hi mixing ratio 70% nopal 30% corn. I
will
investigate more and send you more information.
I don´t mind to make it public.

Saludos,

In india they actually make their breads with sprouted grains which
helps, and it is too bad there are other health detriments with
corn, but excited to learn about nopal! The Rosedale group on yahoo
is a great group, tons of support and they are all very
knowledgable about the Rosedale way, I will be looking out for your
voice there too as you must share about nopal! Plus, your writing
is excellent ;)

Thank you for allowing me to make your question public for
others to learn from you.

Even though they still had maize (corn), even above the levels Jesus had in his, for me at least they caused almost no spike in my blood sugar (a regular tortilla would have shot it up).

In addition to this anecdotal evidence, I see there is also a 2013 study now supporting this conclusion: http://press.endocrine.org/doi/abs/10.1210/endo-meetings.2013.DGM.9...

Marktag:drrosedale.tenderapp.com,2010-09-16:Comment/56767212018-02-06T01:58:07Z2018-02-06T01:58:07ZNopal

Thank you Mark for posting!

Fionatag:drrosedale.tenderapp.com,2010-09-16:Comment/56767212018-03-18T16:55:14Z2018-03-19T09:00:06ZNopal

Hello guys, I am Sean Paul an expert in content writing.
