Manna from Heaven
Dear Dr. Rosedale
We are sending you a question from the UK. We are baffled as to what
exactly is Manna from Heaven? What are the ingredients? Is it just
sprouted spelt wheat or sprouted rye bread? Is there a recipe for us if
we can't get hold of it here?
Warm wishes
Gill

Hi Gill,
I am actually not sure of the exact ingredients, though I know they use organic sprouted grains, you might try searching for a low carb bread recipe with sprouted grains. The bread is very good, but we have found that it sometimes still raises blood sugar levels in type I diabetics a little. There are some low carb breads in the UK though not sure of the brands, check the label, carbohydrates - fiber = the real sugar and try to find one that has about 4-7 carb grams per slice. In the USA I can find them with 4, I believe in the UK there are some with 7. Please let us know what you find so we can share with others that ask from the UK. Almond flour is probably something I use a lot more than bread, to make cookies, muffins etc, I believe you can get that in the UK but it is expensive. I buy ours from http://store.honeyvillegrain.com in the large 5 lb bag.
Hope this helps! Best of health.
