Diet and longevity
Hello Dr. Rosedale,
Beginning with my reading of Dr. Jethro Kloss' "Back To Eden" in 1970, I have gradually expanded my research resulting in the same diet you recommend, and as you well know, it works unbelievably well. Even at 63 years of age I have the same skin and hair (both color and amount) quality as in my 20's, so that my nickname was always "young" Phil. Even now people miss guessing my age by 15-20 years. This is all not a point of vanity on my part, but simply a preference to feel great and stay healthy, not to mention avoid the death care industry. I had a mandatory physical in 1989 to enroll in a company insurance program (which I passed with flying colors) and have not been to see another doctor since. People either don't believe me or ask if I am concerned with having some invisible illness, to which I reply, when one's diet is optimal, no illness can be invisible. In fact, if one never experiences minor illnesses, then that is the sign that the immune
system is doing its job.
Aside from all your wise information regarding diet, I think for me a huge factor is not having a TeeVee or going to movies. By avoiding advertising and cultural propaganda, recognizing and dispensing with health myths is much more easily accomplished. Also the avoidance of adrenaline inducing activities is another result of not watching TeeVee or going to movies affords. Keep up the great work, and let me know when your supplements are available. I never have used them much because they never seemed to accomplish anything, but here in my dotage, they might have a more obvious effect.
Best Regards,
Phil Toler

Dear Phil,
We loved your message, and we are glad to hear that you too have found that our lifestyle is just the only way to be. People are so confused with all the hype they are fed, though when we break it down and show them what to look for within no time that can soon spot the truths from the myths. However, todays generation do tend to jump around from one diet to another looking for a quick fix and yoyo all over the place health and weight wise. Dr. Ron for the last 20 years has done so much testing and research on supplements and there are a group of supplements that he truly feels aids the body in combating aging. We are talking aging in the science depth, the cells, actually more specifically the communication between the cells shows great improvement. Dr. Ron always says as you know from your own experience that it is diet first and foremost, but the supplements do take it to that next level. I believe he would say, 75% diet, 15% supplements and 10% exercise. Dr. Ron himself takes his own recommended supplements. In a healthy person it is harder to show and graph the improvements, as it would have to be shown over a 50 year span with a large group of people all eating our diet for 50 years and taking the supplements, showing their percentage of heart disease, diabetes, osteoporosis, etc. He has no doubt that our group would fall in the very low percentile for most major illnesses but the studies have not been performed over such a long period of time. What I love seeing is those that are very sick and begin the program. Some patients might go all out with the full spectrum of supplements recommended, and another might go with just the bare essentials, like a good multi, magnesium, potassium, fresh fish oil. Seeing these two people with similar labs, weight, health issues, both giving the same determination and compliance to the diet as the other, but the one talking all the supplements has an easier time during the transition and then a faster pace to reversing their symtoms. Our bodies are aging, and nature did not intend for us to live healthy to a long ripe old age. Nature intended for us to procreate and pass on the baton of information to the next generation, after that nature really does not care. So Ron's goal, and your own is to do what you can to grow young longer.
The supplements have been taking a long time. Mainly the process of making sure each ingredient is of the standard and the purity that Ron is satisfied with. Sadly the manufacturers are not used to people every going to such lengths to make sure their product is of the finest. Also Ron was very strict with the process of manufacturing so it took a long time to find a good match in that department. We are almost there, but I would hate to give a date until I have the green light that we are 9 weeks away. If you sign up for our newsletter that is how we will first inform everyone. www.drrosedale.com on the contact us page to the left.
Thank you so much for sharing your news and it is wonderful that people can see through you that it is possible to live younger longer.
Keep up the great work.
The Rosedale Team.
