Hello,
I am a 54 post menopausal women. I have been on an all organic, (and rarely if at all) no sugar, no grain or starch diet for about a year and 1/2 now. I take food based quality vitamins and supplements including vitamin D3 with K2. I use non toxic beauty and house products. I walk everday and follow Dr. Mercola's Sprint 8 (3) times a week. All good! All my aches and pains and problems from the past are GONE!!! All but one.

Here's my question. Hoping you can give me some insight on the matter. My psoriasis has stayed the same.

I have about 3 small patches on the left side of my inner thigh/ buttock area. I'm a total advocate of eating this way and believe it to truly make us healthy and slow the aging process. I just can't put my finger on why my psoriasis has not improved.
Thank you for any information!
Best of health to all of you, Stacey

    Hi Stacey,

So wonderful to hear about your life style change, congratulations. Dr. Ron is traveling to a conference right now so I cannot ask him, and I am not a doctor. However, based on my hearing his answers for many years I might guess he would ask you to check out your gut flora, that would mean doing a stool test and then having someone qualified to know what they are looking for when reading the results, but remember I am not a doctor nor can I give medical advice only share with you what he might have told others to check when an issue is not clearing up. Dr. Ron will be back in a week or so.

    Best of health.

    Dear Fiona,

    Thank you for the info.
A healthy gut does make for a healthy body. I 'm guessing it's connected to the immune system?
I would be very interested in what Dr. Ron has to say though.
In the meantime I will happily up my probiotic intake.

    Thank you again
    Stacey

It would be a lot more detailed a program than that, probiotics are great but if there is no where for the good bacteria then it will be maintained by the non friendly bacteria. The only way you can know for sure if to have a stool test and have a qualified person be able to analysis the report correctly. Dr. Ron would not be able to do this over a Q. and A. Forum like this.

    Dear new found friends,

My daughter has psoriasis since she was born. She has it on her whole body. From head to toe. Being on steroid for years and has stopped it. She has consulted this Western and that Chinese medical professionals. All said NO CURE. Poor girl. How she suffers.

By chance about 4 weeks ago while I was under treatment for my " internal high fever " by a Chinese doctor ( TCM : Traditional Chinese Medicine for the underlying root cause ) he noticed that my daughter has psoriasis. He said it can be treated if not cure it. Apparently, it's something to do with unhygienic hospital environment.

Herbal solutions for bathing. Herbal lotion and spray for her body. Herbal medicine to consume. Lastly, acupuncture. She is recovering. It shall be awhile because she has it for now almost 30 years. More follow ups needed.

    Just sharing.
