Was wondering if you could please tell me how much protein would 45
grams be or 15 grams per meal.  I guessed 3-4 oz.  Hope that is correct.  I am
losing fat and inches so must be close.

I love this diet.  My wellness Dr. put me on this when my blood pressure and
blood sugar started to go up.

Just do not get the metric system very well.

    Hi Mary,

Thanks for writing in. Remember this is 15 grams of protein; the meat will weigh much more as it also has water and fat, so we are not talking about the 'weight' of the meat, but the protein grams. This doesn’t have to be exact, but it’s a good ballpark figure to keep in mind when you’re eating. An egg is roughly 6-8g of protein and a piece of meat (chicken/fish/meat) the size of a deck of cards is around 15 grams. 8-10 almonds is around 6 grams of protein. So, not grams in weight. Most people on a low carb diet naturally gravitate to a high protein which this is not, so just keeping a little eye on the protein will be great. Also there is a little protein in vegetables but not a complete protein.

We would love to know who your wellness doctor is, so that as Dr. Ron comes out with his new book we can let them know, and also we like to reach out to them to see if they have any questions we can help ou with, though we never harass just a simple email.

Wishing you the best of health.
