Multi-Vitamin Mineral Complex

Could you please tell me if this is a sound multi-vitamin that I should consider taking? I have never heard of CitriSweet and it is listed as an ingredient in this multi-vitamin. I was also wondering if it bears too many carbs to be taking?

Hi Katie,
Well you know that good ole movie, 'you had me at hello' well this one lost me at maltodextrin and sucrose. Some of the ingredients are not bad, I just do not like what they are mixed with. Twin labs has a good multi in a capsule that covers the basics, it comes with iron or without, you should only take iron only if you know your are low in iron by doing a ferritin test. Thank you Katie for attaching the nutritional label that makes it so much easier for us to respond.

Thanks Fiona for your quick response. Could you tell me a little more about what the sucrose is in? I didn't see it listed on the label. Which of the ingredients are NOT bad? What are they mixed with to make them not that good?
What about the amount of carbs?
Just curious about the above multi-vitamin. A lot of my family is taking it and I would like to be well informed about it. I had already purchased the Twin Lab's Daily One Multi-Vitamin when a member of my family told me about this one. So I will continue on with what I had. Thanks for your time.

Here is Dr. Ron's response. 3 mg of CoQ10 just for the name. 125 mg of “amino acid complex”, also just to put names. It has iron, so should not be for men. As far as the sugar; that shouldn't be a big deal. The 7 g of carbohydrate are likely mostly fiber (inulin and guar gum), though the fact that it contains fructose, even a little bit, indicates a lack of caring and/or smarts.
