Dr. Rosedale I have been following you for a long time heard you on
the radio and went to one of your lectures in Denver. Talked several
times to your son. Then you were gone. Just so want to get in
touch with you!! I just got my blood report and couldn't believe my
cholesterol came from 198 to 220 in 7 months.

Hi Sharon,
Great to hear from you. Yes, India took me away for a little longer than anticipated there a few years back. If you have not read already, read my article Cholesterol is NOT the cause of heart disease. http://www.drrosedale.com/rosedale_writing.htm

Thank you so much for responding to my email. I am so excited about your web site and this newsletter. I am on the first week of your diet, and feeling better already. I am losing weight. My main concern is to see what this diet does for my glucose level and cholesterol as I am 72 almost 73 in a month just started having arthritis in my knee so I would love to know what else you would suggest that I do. Also Where can I order your vitamins and how do I know what I need to take? Also I am concerned about getting enough fiber besides nuts and veggies. Thank you so very much for getting back with us May be you will come back on Tom Matinos program let me know if you do. Thanks lots

Hi Sharon,
The diet will be so wonderful for you as it really reduces inflammation. Make sure you are taking magnesium and potassium (capsules, never tablet form) as they are needed for the transition. I have also attached an article about cholesterol for you to read, it is not the villain the pharma companies have made it out to be, though it sells record number of unnecessary statin drugs. I am so very excited about the supplements that Dr. Ron has been working on for the past year, similar to what he had for his patients before, but with many changes and always striving to improve. Fiber, I know for us is not such a big focus, as long as you have your correct amount of protein, enough good fats, and some salads/greens, you should be good to go. Nuts, are great for snacking on and handy to keep in your pocket even. We LOVE Tom Martino, and always enjoy having Ron talk on his show, the last one was I believe in May, did you hear that one?
Wishing your great health and happiness.
