Should I get my blood work done while I am fasting or wait until after the fast?

Hi Dr Rosedale

Dr Mercola and Dr Fung referred me to you. You are the source of the best info!! Thanks for being Here (on Earth)

My question

I am LC,HF,LP- meticulously for about 4 months (I was low carb/high fat before- but too much protein) I have been water fasting for 2 weeks and will go until I get hungry (maybe 2, 3, or 4 weeks more- I have done this before).

I am due for an annual checkup with my GP. He sends me in for a full blood array (nothing fancy- just the usual). Should I go in for my checkup while I am fasting? Go in just after I end the fast? Or wait til I have been eating for a few weeks?

I am 66yo- very fit- and nothing particularly wrong with me. (touch wood) Yesterday afternoon, my blood glucose was 4.3 and my blood ketones were 4.6. I have a glucometer

kindest regards- and thankyou so much- my health is the best I can remember! wow
