Dear Dr. Rosedale,

I have been studying your work with interest.

It all sounds very good. I am a vegetarian (for spiritual reasons, so I won't change that)....and I rely on beans...especially black beans and garbanzo beans.

I don't understand why you say not to eat beans....they have good fiber and good protein? Can you please explain your reasoning for this?

Thanks.

We actually have spent the last few years implementing our program in southern India, where the population is mainly vegetarian and heavily diabetic. There is so much more to explain, and the book goes in to great details about the body and it's needs to run the efficiently, plus the science behind why this works. Dr. Rosedale does not care if one is vegetarian or not. However, that said it is harder for a vegetarian to get quality protein without it being laced in sugar forming foods. Soy protein has many known detriments, and many of the beans are full of carbohydrates. You can see with out downloadable food list on our web site, there are many vegetarian foods that one can eat. I would just be mindful of where you are getting your protein, and to make sure you are getting enough. We have seen incredible improvement in people health on this program, many of whom are vegetarian. Almost forgot eggs? we have found many vegetarians eat eggs which are a wonderful source of protein and great fats.

Wishing you all the best of health,

    The Rosedale Team.
