CHITOSON ok or not?
Hi
there is a supplement with chitosan and psyllium husks plus vitamin C called
Fat Blaster that helps limit absorption of fats.
Is this an ok supplement to take? i wasn't sure whether to get it or not
because fats are meant to be ok right its just carbs - so it would be better
to get something the limits carbs intake wouldn't it.

Oh Marie,
Where do I start. I did actually read through their products and program. There are a million products promising the same. The products are very high sugar and way to much caffeine. You are free will to do whatever you like and the results are clear as day. You can chase one fad and rainbow after another, you might lose some weight, but sadly for sure not in a good way that works with your body, and you will follow the majority of seekers on the yoyo dieting roller coaster. So, I will instead pretend for a moment that you are my sister, and tell you to STOP IT! The products you are looking at will only get you in trouble in the long term. Sugar, is sugar, is sugar, fruit is fructose which is the worse kind of sugar, low fat milk is high fat sugar, there was nothing I could find in that program that was true, correct scientifically possible. You will never be able to live and be satiated while counting calories. You can never lose the fat you need to by eating sugar and low fat, and high caffeine. Bite the bullet, and do Rosedale for 3 weeks, and all those cravings you are having for the quick fix it, the magic pills, you will not need them. Just do it, after the 2nd week you will feel the difference, then by 21 days you will have switched that switch to being a fat burner, the right away. They say to break most addictions it takes 21 days. Sugar is a tough one, and your body will be messing with your mind if you have been a high sugar gal for a long time. This is not about weight loss, this is first and foremost about health. Belly fat is a very unhealthy fat. You are being distracted from your goal, from the truth. You did not get where you are over night, and it will take some determination to get back on track, which you can do. When you are there it will get so much easier, when the cravings go away, life is no longer the obsession of looking for a short cut. Get a good magnesium, potassium, carlson's fish oil in a bottle (great aid to stimulating fat burning) and possibly some benfortiamin, which will help to get you going. Don't put yourself in the position of weakness, clear out your fridge, the pantry, these 3 weeks are going to be boot camp, and you will not even be hungry. Just stock up on things that you can eat and be prepared, that sugar devil will be on your shoulder but will give up when you start fat burning!
You can do this. Check in to the yahoo communities rosedalediet forum, it is a great place with so many that have been in your shoes, and that have great tips, ideas, but mainly amazing support.
Keep us posted.
