What is an acceptable
replacement? There are no less the 10 recipes in the Rosedale diet
book that use Manna from Heaven bread. At least tell us some
characteristics of bread we need to look for. Is the "Paleo" bread
from Julian Bakery a good substitute? Roman Meal? Wonder Bread?
Twinkes? Something?....

dc310tag:drrosedale.tenderapp.com,2010-09-16:Comment/284190322013-08-27T14:04:08Z2013-08-27T14:05:51ZManna from Heaven replacement

Arleen & dc310

You might find a bread recipe and substitute with ingredients
like below - you will probably need to get a little practice in or
have someone with a bread maker do it for you.

I personally haven't eaten any bread since June 2012, before
then I would scarf down at least a loaf a day by myself. I find
doing without it in any form does no harm.

Blanched Almond Flour

Lots of protein, so beware and easy on the servings/slices - see
image below

Substitute for wheat flour in cakes, breads, cookies, muffins
and more.

Arrowroot Starch/Flour

Arrowroot is made from the dried root of a tropical plant. It is
a thickening agent that may be used in place of cornstarch. As a
thickener, it can be used for soups, sauces and puddings. It has no
flavor of its own and is the easiest starch to digest. Arrowroot is
best used at the end of your cooking just before boiling, as
continued heating will cause it to lose its thickening ability. It
is also an excellent ingredient for gluten-free baking or
breading.

xylitol sweetener

I do not know of any personally - I haven't seen any mentioned
on this website either.

Perhaps Fiona or Dr. Ron may know.

Has anyone found a replacement for Julian Bakery's Manna from
Heaven?

be found to make on our own.

I have found a recipe that might be acceptable but I am not
sure.

10 tbs of almond flour (about 150 gr I think)
500 ml of egg whites
300 gr of Total Fage 0%
10 tsp of baking powder

What do you think?

Kletag:drrosedale.tenderapp.com,2010-09-16:Comment/284190322013-12-18T05:05:12Z2013-12-18T05:05:12ZManna from Heaven replacement

Can someone answer since many recipes needs this bread and give
some suggestions? Please

Kletag:drrosedale.tenderapp.com,2010-09-16:Comment/284190322013-12-19T00:04:32Z2014-06-25T13:21:46ZManna from Heaven replacement

pazzamentefelice

It appears that there aren't any suitable bread recipes at this
time - until there is you could use the recipes that do not use
bread.

Julian Bakery's Manna from Heaven is only a
recommendation not a necessity ..

Wishing you the best of health ........

-- it's very low-carb and comparatively high-fiber, and it's our

that is low carb, hi fiber and protein...at work so dont have the
name in front of me but has a sticker saying "diabetes" friendly or
something like that. I think in Dr Rosedale's book he mentions it
being low carb hi fiber and w/ protein so I bought this
replacement. I like it but I was not a big bread person so going
without is no big deal. Good luck on your journeys.

Marytag:drrosedale.tenderapp.com,2010-09-16:Comment/284190322015-03-17T19:55:35Z2015-03-17T19:55:35ZManna from Heaven replacement

Thanks Mary ...
