The Rosedale Diet
On Jul, 07, 2012, I posted how the The Rosedale Diet saved my life. Was diabesity, hi-blood pressure and a CVD patient taking > than a handful of drugs every day. Fast forward (almost 7 years shortly) I am still free of the above diseases. Thank you Doc and the Rosedale Team.
Along the way ... being frustrated not being able to assist Malaysian (only a handful) I got certified as a NTP & GAPS Practitioner.
By words of mouth I had many successes incorporating Dr. Rosedale's diet. Malaysians are multi-ethnic society. Muslims, Chinese, Indians, Eurasians, Nyona Baba, & others. Pretty difficult to incorporate Western diet.
I tweeted their food selection in accordance to Ron's Level 1 & 2 together with home-made stock, broth, fermented sauerkraut; non-dairy fermented coconut yoghurt, kefir, sour cream; pickled cucumber, etc to "heal & seal" my clients (patients) dysfunctional gut (everyone has a certain degree of gut issues).
I termed Ron's & Dr Natasha Campbell-McBride's diet as FaM Diet (Food as Medicine ... FaM Diet 1 & FaM Diet 2). Having re-read Ron's articles (umpteen times) and many others from various sources, I tried Intermittent Fasting (IF) with the 16:8 and 20:4 Diet together with Ron's & Dr Natasha's diet. Malaysian society always like to "feast" as opposed to "famine aka "fast".
There're always anniversaries; weddings; social gatherings; Mother's Day dinner; etc). Eating day & night!!. It's difficult to turn down invitation every time aka anti-social.
I think with IF "tweeted" with Level1 & 2/FaM Diet 1 & 2 can help getting back to Insulin Sensitivity; Leptin Sensitivity and mTOR down-regulation much faster. With IF (5 days of 16:8 follow by 20:4), So far, it's promising. Will be attending 3 consecutive 10-Day (total 30 days) Vipassana Meditation course shortly to access my pre & post CBC markers with what I termed FaM Diet 3. Will report Jan, 2017.
To ALL READERS: Dr Ron Rosedale's diet is 100% effective because evolutionary we started as single cell prokaryotes and then eukaryotes. Watch his video. Doc's diet goes back to billions of years ... just follow what MOTHER NATURE designed for us to live a healthy and l..o..n..g life. After all it's only Mother Nature's food you will be eating. 1st, Do No Harm. Trust him and the The Team.
To your health,
Alan Hooi, Malyasian

Dear Doc,
A thousand of apologies. Made a silly mistake to " cc" instead of
"bcc". Kindly delete the others if you gonna post my response on your
website.
To the rest, please be equanimous. Thousand apologies .
Be Happy.

Alan, your posts were not chosen to be private, do you want all your posts to be deleted? They are made public automatically if "make private" is not chosen when posting.

Dear Ken,
Thanks a lot. You folks in the USA (including Europe especially Sweden) are
lucky having doctors like Dr. Ron Rosedale preaching Food as Medicine.
Majority of Malaysian goes with the mainstream conventional medical
treatment ... treating the symptoms and not the underlying root causes.
Those in the public sectors including retirees are dependent on these free
drugs. So the private sectors just follow the conventional medical
practices.
Have read your health recovery with Ron's diet. Keep up your contribution
spreading the good work.
Be happy :)

Dear Ken,
Re Medical Tests, could you please confirm that the TSH unit measurement is
in pg/mL? Thanks in anticipation of your co-op.

The answer may be in the Rosedale Diet Book on page 172.

I know, but it doesn't says it's pg/mL. Do I assume it is? My clients wanna to be sure.

Alan,
If time permits, Dr. Rosedale may comment on your question at a later date.

Ken,
Assuming that TSH is in pg/ml I still have a problem. In Malaysia, the TSH measurement is:
CU: uIu/mL
SI: mIU?mL
Would you or your colleague have the conversion. Thanks.
