80
isn't bad at all.

Which of the two diet plans in Dr. Ron's book
are you using?

Ken

Kentag:drrosedale.tenderapp.com,2010-09-16:Comment/352520682014-11-12T21:47:04Z2014-11-26T01:55:29ZHigh blood pressure

It concerns me because I know that it is ideal to be below
120/80 and my Father has very high blood pressure and I am still
pretty young..... I am following the A plan 50% of the time and the
B plan 50% of the time right now...... I'm about to cut calories to
get some more fat off, so I will be doing the A plan for the lean
meats only pretty much, and also cutting some fat. I will still try
to get 50% calories via fat though, but I need to get the calories
down more.

poorejjtag:drrosedale.tenderapp.com,2010-09-16:Comment/352520682014-11-18T18:55:48Z2014-11-18T18:55:50ZHigh blood pressure

I responded to this several days back, but I guess it did not go
through... I am on the A diet for the most part, but I do eat off
the B plan in limited quantities... Also, I noticed my blood
pressure still seems to be climbing. I took a reading the other
night at 167/80 something. I never had this problem while eating a
lower fat diet including whole food startches. I want to believe
this diet is the right diet, but I don't want to have a stroke.

poorejjtag:drrosedale.tenderapp.com,2010-09-16:Comment/352520682014-11-18T19:00:00Z2014-11-18T19:00:01ZHigh blood pressure

Maybe too much vitamin K from all the greens I eat is causing my
blood to become too thick?

The other night when my reading was so high, I took 800mg
magnesium glycinate over a period of a couple hours, and my
systolic came down to 138 (somewhere around that), but by morning
it was up in the 140's again. I am eating a lot of celery to see if
that helps. Tonight I think I will do cayenne and turmeric.... I've
also added a vitamin E supplement.

poorejjtag:drrosedale.tenderapp.com,2010-09-16:Comment/352520682014-11-18T20:11:33Z2014-11-18T20:11:33ZHigh blood pressure

poorejj

L-Arginine
, recommended by Dr.
Ron, helps my BP. It is listed in both Plans.

For 20 plus years my BP ran 160-210 / 90-120 range. Until I
found Dr. Ron's Plan I had been taking as much as 6 meds daily for
BP alone.

Now BP runs 130-150 / 70-90 without any meds - I am satisfied
with these numbers. Of course I would like to see 120s / 70s on a
regular basis, but my pressure has greatly improved while using Dr.
Ron's plan and I assume as my body's overall health continues to
improve my BP will be part of that improvement.
